Harry M. Nabergal, 85, of Amanda, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at his residence. He was born on August 31, 1929 in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Harry W. Nabergal and Naomi (Carpenter). Harry was an employee of Anchor Hocking for 42 years. He enlisted in the United States Marines in 1947 and served for 3 years. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Advent Church in Chillicothe, working in the church food pantry for many years. Harry was also a member of the Men's Christian Fellowship.

He is survived by his son, Thomas (Maria) Nabergal; daughters, MiLana Stump, Mikki Cottrill. Grandchildren; Christina (Charles) Whitaker, Jennifer (Joe) Christ and Belinda (Adam) Farley; MiLicity and Richard (Amy) Carpenter, Stephen Stump, Mandy Elick, J.D. Cottrill; great-grandchildren; Lauren Elick, Thomas, Zavier, Zaine, Zander and Charlotte (Whitacker), Daxton and Cadence (Christ), Dominic, Clarice, Bronson (Farley); his sister; Dolores (Harold) Konkler.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife Wilma N. (Bowman); his sister Jeanne Shook, and his brother, Starling Nabergal.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 1PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Ron Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens where the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail will conduct military graveside services. Friends may call 12-1PM Friday at the funeral home.
